Call it Done Automotive (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides this page to clearly outline our service terms, estimate/invoice policies, and how we handle your information. By scheduling service, approving an estimate, or accepting a finished vehicle, you agree to these terms.

1) Estimate Terms (Pre-Work)

Estimates

Estimates are approximations based on anticipated work. Unexpected issues (rust, seized/broken fasteners, hidden damage) may change labor, parts, and time. You authorize us to source required parts/materials and to operate the vehicle for testing/verification. If additional repairs are needed, we will provide a revised estimate for approval before proceeding. All parts are new unless otherwise noted.

Diagnostics

Diagnostics are billed at our standard hourly rate, minimum 0.5 hr. Our diagnostic service is guaranteed—if our diagnosis is incorrect, we will cover the repair to make it right.

Payments & Special Orders

A 3% processing fee applies to credit card payments. No fees for debit, ACH, or cash. Deposits are non-refundable. No returns/refunds on special-order items or electrical parts. No warranties on used, salvage, or customer-supplied parts.

Seized Fasteners / Rust

Attempts to remove seized or broken bolts/studs/fasteners are billed at our hourly rate with no guarantee of successful extraction. Additional labor, thread repair, or related parts may be required at the customer’s expense. Rust/corrosion can significantly increase repair time and cost.

Aftermarket Warranty Customers

We will assist with claim filing as a courtesy; coverage/payment is not guaranteed. A $75 claim handling fee applies to all claims, in addition to diagnostic/tear-down costs, whether approved or denied. You are responsible for any uncovered charges, and payment is due at service completion unless otherwise arranged. We may refuse work with certain warranty providers. By authorizing service, you allow us to communicate with your warranty company on your behalf.

Storage (During Estimates/Diagnostics)

Vehicles left more than 72 hours after notice of diagnostic completion/estimate may incur $45/day storage starting on the 4th calendar day unless prior arrangements are made in writing. Vehicles left more than 14 days without communication may be considered abandoned and subject to lien/removal at the owner’s expense.

2) Invoice Terms (Post-Work)

Acknowledgment of Work

Your invoice reflects all approved repairs/services. By accepting delivery of your vehicle, you acknowledge that work has been completed to your satisfaction unless otherwise noted.

Payment Terms

Invoices are due in full upon pickup unless prior arrangements are made in writing. A 3% fee applies to credit card payments. No additional fees for debit, ACH, or cash. Failure to pay may result in a mechanic’s lien under Missouri law (MO 429.010) and you may be responsible for legal/collection costs.

Storage After Completion

Vehicles left more than 72 hours after completion/notice of readiness may incur $45/day storage beginning on the 4th day. After 14 days without communication, vehicles may be considered abandoned and subject to lien and/or removal at the owner’s expense.

Warranty

12-month/12,000-mile limited warranty (whichever comes first) on parts and labor. Claims must be reported and inspected at our facility. No warranty on declined diagnostics, used/salvage, or customer-supplied parts. Towing is not included. Warranty is non-transferable and void if related work is performed elsewhere without prior approval.

Aftermarket Warranties (If Applicable)

Repairs done under a third-party warranty are subject to provider approval and limits. You are responsible for deductibles, non-covered/declined items, and any outstanding balance at pickup. Claim handling fees and diagnostics are non-refundable.

Broken Bolts / Seized Fasteners / Rust

Extraction attempts and related procedures may require additional labor/parts. No guarantee of successful removal. Additional costs (thread repair, drilling/tapping, replacement components) are the customer’s responsibility.

Disclaimers

  • Declined Work: May affect safety, performance, or reliability; we are not responsible for issues stemming from declined repairs.

  • Pre-Existing Conditions: We are not responsible for unrelated pre-existing issues or worn components that fail during/after repair.

  • Test Drives/Mileage: Reasonable road testing may add mileage to verify proper operation.

  • Liability: We are not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle or for damage due to fire, theft, weather, or other events beyond our control.

Road Hazard Protection (Optional)

Available for $15 per tire. Includes free tire replacement for 12 months from purchase date or until first 2/32” tread, whichever comes first, plus free flat repairs for the life of the tire. Applies only to the original purchaser/vehicle. Tires must be properly maintained; tires at or below 4/32” tread are not covered. Replacement tires must be purchased through Call it Done Automotive. Excludes vandalism, racing, off-road use, accidents, and mechanical failures. To file a claim, bring the damaged tire to us for inspection/service.

3) Terms & Conditions (General)

  • Approvals: We do not perform additional repairs without your approval unless necessary for safety/preventing further damage and we cannot reach you.

  • Parts Availability: Delays may occur due to parts backorders/shipping. We are not liable for delays caused by vendors/carriers.

  • Customer-Supplied Parts: No warranty and additional labor may apply.

  • Returns: No returns/refunds on electrical or special-order parts.

  • Communication: Phone, text, and email approvals are documented and binding.

  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.

  • Updates: We may update these terms at any time; the “Last updated” date will change when we do.

4) Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

Name, phone number, email, address, vehicle/VIN, service history, photos/videos related to service, and communication preferences (e.g., text opt-in).

How We Use Your Information

  • Scheduling, estimates, approvals, service updates, and invoices/receipts

  • Diagnostic/repair documentation and warranty claims (including communications with your warranty company)

  • Customer support and limited, relevant promotions (e.g., maintenance reminders)

What We Don’t Do

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to operate our business (e.g., payment processors, parts vendors, warranty providers) and only for the intended purpose.

Data Security & Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Records are retained as required for business, warranty, and legal purposes, then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.

Your Choices

  • You can request a copy or correction of your information.

  • You can opt out of marketing texts/emails at any time (see SMS section below).

  • Certain service records may be required to be retained for legal/accounting reasons.
