Service Policies
Estimates & Authorizations
Estimates are approximations based on the information available at the time they are created. Unexpected issues such as rust, seized fasteners, hidden damage, parts availability, or additional failures may change the final cost or repair time. If additional repairs are needed, we will provide an updated estimate for approval before proceeding.
Diagnostics
We use advanced diagnostic equipment and proven testing procedures to identify the root cause of vehicle concerns. Diagnostic services are non-refundable once testing has begun. In some cases, testing may identify a condition that must be repaired before additional testing can continue. Evaluation credits, when applicable, are subject to the terms provided with your estimate or repair order.
Deposits & Appointment Policy
Deposits may be required for first-time clients, jobs over $1,000, special-order parts, non-returnable parts, or other situations determined by the shop. Deposits may become non-refundable once parts are ordered, work has begun, or an appointment is missed or canceled without proper notice.
First-time clients may be required to place a $50 appointment deposit, which is applied toward the final invoice at service. For services under $50, full payment may be required upfront.
Clients are expected to arrive within 30 minutes of their scheduled appointment time. Missed appointments, late arrivals, or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit and may require a deposit for future appointments.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion unless prior written arrangements have been made. We accept cash, debit, credit, and financing options. Unpaid balances may be subject to collection efforts, storage fees, and/or a mechanic’s lien as allowed under Missouri law.
Special-Order Parts
Special-order, electrical, used, salvage, and customer-supplied parts may be non-returnable and/or excluded from warranty coverage. Full details are provided with the estimate or repair authorization when applicable.
Storage Fees
Vehicles left more than 48 hours after completion of diagnostics, estimates, or repairs may be subject to storage fees unless prior arrangements are made in writing. Vehicles left for an extended period without communication may be considered abandoned and subject to lien or removal at the owner’s expense.
Warranty Overview
Vehicles 15 years old and newer are generally covered by a 3-Year / 36,000-Mile Limited Repair Warranty. Vehicles over 15 years old are generally covered by a 12-Month / 12,000-Mile Limited Repair Warranty.
Warranty coverage applies only to qualifying repairs performed by Call it Done Automotive and covers defects in parts supplied by Call it Done Automotive and installation-related workmanship. Warranty claims must be returned to and inspected by Call it Done Automotive before warranty work is authorized.
Warranty does not cover unrelated failures, normal wear, abuse, neglect, overheating, contamination, declined recommended repairs, customer-supplied parts, used parts, salvage parts, or repairs performed by another facility without prior approval.
